Vends caisse claire Ludwig COB WFL 1960 pre serial badge - 1 100 €

Here is a vintage 1960 Ludwig COB chrome over brass otherwise known as the Super Ludwig 400 back in the day before supraphonics with pre serial badge. 14" by 5 1/2" featuring 10 lugs and COB hoops and weighs in at 9 lbs and 4 ounces. All original and no extra holes. The small knob muffler is excellent and works smoothly-the felt is excellent. The chrome is beautiful and these very rarely pitted as opposed to the Ludalloys, amazing for a drum this age, there is only one scratch close from the throw-off you can see on pictures. The bearing edges are excellent and are rolled over and under which is a hallmark of this snare. The snare beds are crimped which is why they sound so good. Comes equipped with Remo heads and classic wire. Truly a rare find in this condition and a wonderful addition to any collection. The most recorded snare of history, a killing sound.
